On completion of Plastic Surgery Training in the UK, he was awarded a Certificate of Certified Training by British Association of Plastic Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1990. He also acquired a diploma in Cosmetic Surgery from Humana Hospital in London in 1992.
After gaining experience at various NHS Plastic Surgery posts in the UK, Dr Shahab Mahdi started his full time independent cosmetic Surgery practice in the UK in 1997. Prior to that he had held Consultant Plastic Surgeons posts in Saudi Arabia and in Pakistan.
He has been associated with Transform, one of the largest Cosmetic surgery clinics in the UK, and is currently one of their leading Surgeons. He has also held the post of the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee. He performs a full range of cosmetic surgical procedures and has a special interest in Liposuction, Breast Augmentation and Facial cosmetic surgery. With his experience of more than 10,000 successful cosmetic surgery procedures he is one of the most sought after Cosmetic surgeon, both in Pakistan and in the UK.
